Your wedding should feel like a celebration, not an all-day photoshoot. I’m Scott, an award-winning Essex wedding photographer, and I’ve photographed weddings since 2006. My approach combines real, natural moments with creative portraits, without taking over your day.
Around 20–30 minutes can often be enough for portraits and some signature photographs, depending on the timings, light and venue. We’ll plan around your celebration, your guests and the moments that matter to you. Explore my wedding photography.

the TIMELINE
We’ll work out a realistic photography timeline together, thinking about your ceremony, group photographs, portraits and all the moments in between. I’ll help you leave room for the unexpected, rather than treating your wedding like a list of staged shots.
I’ll look for great light and backdrops when we’re making portraits, then step back and capture the laughter, speeches, hugs and dance floor naturally. My goal is to make great photographs while you get on with enjoying your wedding.
Booking
The best time to book a photographer is right after you book your venue. You want to get comfortable with your photographer and allow time to have a conversation about your vision and specific needs for your photography.
A booking fee of £400 is required to secure your wedding date. Your remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date.
We can also accept split payments with 50% of the balance due six months before the wedding date, and the remaining 50% due 30 days before the booked date.
Engagement Shoot
It's a good idea to get your engagement sessions booked right away. Most people aren't used to being photographed professionally so this is a wonderful opportunity for the bride and groom to get comfortable in front of a camera.
Think of this as a trial run with the end result being gorgeous photographs of the two of you leading up to your big day.
This is also a fantastic time to do a test run for hair and makeup.
Pre Wedding Meeting
Once you've had your final meeting with the venue, we'll get together either at the showroom or via Zoom so we can work out the finer details and timings of the day.
This is also a great opportunity to discuss the photography requests such as group shots or locations you'd like to cover on the day.
You can also refamiliarise yourself with your chosen album or upgrade your coverage. We will also book your in-person album reveal at the showroom whilst you are here.
The Wedding Day
This is the day. No matter how stressed you are, we are here to calm you and take care of you. We'll capture your day, your story, your life.
Whether your family views your photos in a month or 50 years from now, they'll see your entire story.
Final Delivery
We aim to have your images ready for when you return from your honeymoon 2-3 weeks after the wedding date. As we have already locked in your viewing, we will welcome you back to the studio for a glass of bubbly and we will show you your pre-designed album layouts on the big screen.
We can then go through the leather and colour options for your chosen book, or speak about possible upgrades and additional albums.
On the rare occasion, changes to the layouts need to be made, we will give you a link so you can view the layouts at home at your leisure.
