Since 2006, we have made it our goal to capture relaxed portraits, amazing detail and real moments at weddings. We don't believe in staging everything.
We are a small team of creative and highly passionate photographers based in Essex, but able to travel if required. The principle photographer and digital artist is Scott Johnson LSWPP.
Scott has always been involved in photography. He was given his first professional contract aged just 22 on board a 6-star American cruise liner. He returned to the UK at 24 where he began working for a local wedding photographer learning the ropes, but he wanted to stretch his legs, so, in 2006, The Edge Photography was born. His relaxed yet professional approach to weddings has helped The Edge to be runaway success.
Recently, he was awarded Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (LSWPP), professional recognition which Scott had been working towards for nearly a year. It proves that he always striving to give each couple the very best wedding experience complete with stunning images. He is currently working toward his Associate qualification.
If you know Scott, you'll know he's a bag of fun and always up for a laugh, something which he likes to include when he shoots weddings. He loves to travel, and if you ask nicely, he'll tell you all about his cage dive with Great White Sharks in South Africa, or his time spent in Japan!
